An example of direct taxation would be income taxes that are collected from the people who actually earn their income.
An example of an indirect taxation would be when someone buys a product/item, according to the law.

What class of people was more directly affected by the Stamp Act (Rich or poor)? Explain.
I believe that the upper class was more directely affected by the Stamp Act, to them the small amount of taxation was a lot more to them. Mainly because they were dissapointed that the government were just 'raising' money, when in the past, the taxes were used to regulate comerce. It's not because of the amount but of the standards.
How did the Stamp Act raise concerns among the colonists about Britain’s right to tax them?
They felt that they should have some voice, because the Representatives didn't ask for the colonist's opinion.
The First Continental Congress met, because they needed to discuss about how the laws that were enforced by the British were violating their rights, and how unfair it was. To the British, this could be considered treason, and the people in the First Continental Congress could be hanged.
